Whether escaping from enemy forces or just escaping for the weekend, you can make your escape with the awesome Flying Fortress pilot's bag; inspired by the courageous pilots of WW2 who flew combat missions over the Pacific.
The B-17 "Flying Fortress" bomber was one of the workhorses of the Allied forces in WW2 (used in both Europe and the Pacific). The iconic bomber was fast, high-flying, able to defend itself and return home despite extensive battle damage.
This bag is made from heavy-duty canvas with sturdy 100% cotton webbing handles and shoulder strap. Lined with cotton and featuring an interior pocket (perfect size for your phone or iPod). An oversized brass zipper completes the bag, making it easy to open and close (even with pilot's gloves on!).
Genuine WW2 aircraft silhouettes printed on one side, and a reproduction squadron patch on the other side. Featuring a large reproduction "Blood Chit" patch as well. "Blood Chit" patches were used by pilots - shot down in enemy territory - to identify them as friendly to civilians and requesting their assistance and protection. This "chit" was carried by Allied forces flying over South East Asia.
