Let’s be real, sometimes (if not most of the time) getting ink hurts but there are a lot of other aches and pains we deal with on a daily basis, tattoo-related or not. That’s where Lidocaine comes in. It’s a local anesthetic that numbs the area it’s applied to help ease any current or anticipated pain/trauma. Long story short: it blocks the receptors in your skin responsible for sending signals to your brain that something hurts.
How To Use
- Prepare by cleaning and shaving (if necessary) the area of your tattoo before applying.
- Apply a thick layer to desired area and rub thoroughly in until fully absorbed.
- Wrap the area with film (plastic wrap). The wrap activates the cream and stops it from drying out. For maximum numbing effect leave cream and wrap for 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to appointment.
